Van Cleef & Arpels is launching a luxurious line which includes 6 fragrances in September 2009, created in cooperation with various perfumers. Their flacons are identical, massive and made of glass, decorated with simple black tops, while their compositions are very special and of high quality because of expensive raw materials used in creation of the fragrances.

Bois Iris is a woody fragrance. Precious and exotic woody notes accentuated by a vibrant, salty note remind us of sun-drenched, sun-dried driftwood gently and steadily lapped by waves. Powdery iris with its soft, light and elegant note recalls the Tuscan countryside to the mind''s eye. Bois d’Iris has a woody, but also somehow "moist" scent, in which the perfumer Emilie Coppermann added sensually warm accents of myrrh, labdanum, frankincense and ambergris to complement the majestic Iris.
